Internship's Diary-Day 8

Another unproductive day, every day I have to follow up the last before stuff, seem like it doesn’t has an ending. I am getting bored with office work. As if I am the office boy there. Photocopying, filing, scanning, phoning, faxing, and answering calls. Sigh….

Today I was suppose to drive the suv ( a model of tractor) but due to the stupid staff wanna to drive it, so I didn’t have the chance to try it. But luckily I didn’t try coz those 2 who drove the suv got collide with each other. Just a minor collision, nothing spoilt and no one injured.

I was suppose to post a special blog about the gym I joined recently, but I really don’t have the time to do it, plus my internship section getting lesser and lesser thing to blog out.

Well, today I went for the body combat class( a group dance base on martial arts, eg: taichi, boxing, karate, kungfu….) This was the second time I joined the class taught by a cool and muscular trainer, Peggy. Overall, she was I good trainer. Previously I went for the body jam class, somehow it seem to sissy for guys to take part. So I decided to give up that class. Of course there were guys, but it just too gay for me. LOL! I really can’t stand with the body movement. Kinda soft.LOL!

My personal trainer (for fitness) told me that my gym class starts next Tuesday. The trainer, Joshua, called me previously to confirm the date for the training. We had a short conversation and taught some basic on using the gym stuffs for around 10 minutes. I didn’t really like the way he teach, he is the care-free type, which me, he teach for the sake of teaching. Seem like he didn’t think of your side. One good thing about him is, he is a friendly guy. Still, he is not a good trainer. LOL! Bad impression!

Initially I was complaining myself on why I registered the gym ever though it was damn expensive. Did you know how much I pay for the first month? RM380!!! Wow, you might surprise right? And need to pay RM195 per month for the following month. My initial thought disappeared after the third day I went for the gym. I start enjoying it. The facilities, the classes…… I felt like it worth it. It is the place for sadist (single guy) like me to pass his time. I got myself fill with the fun and get myself sweat. After the tiresome day, I got myself dinner and get back to sleep without much thinking. It’s really suffering for single guy like me if you do nothing and you might ended up getting yourself feel lonely and pathetic. I did experience it before. Though sometime I still feeling the same way, but at least it reduced. When you tired, you tend to get yourself sleep easier without thinking anything. LOL!

So, for pity guy like me, get yourself a partner, or get yourself busy. That’s the way you can reduce you loneliness. LOL!

Internship's Diary-Day 5

Well, just had my dinner at Old Town, in IOI Mall. Well, since here is the cheapest place to eat + wifi ( wireless). LOL! Pity me, searching here and there to online.

Today, another unproductive day. Whole day follow up yesterday work. COLLECTING DEBT!!! Damn it. Another day being tai yi long. LOL! This job is too easy to me. It's not related to my field of studies and i can't really learnt something more engineering. Life in the office is too dull and boring to me. You get your ass sit on the chair and face the computer the moment you start working until you finish you work. Damn sien! No wonder people tend to get fat easily. LOL!

That what i look, in the customer point of view.LOL!

Well, that doesnt mean that i prefer work behind the office(workshop). I don't know how i gonna to face all the technicians there. As if we are from different world. They all those who have their whole life in the workshop and estate, while i am a future degree holder, future engineer. I am not looking down at them, just we have different mind set. I always muted when i bump into them, what i can do is just giving them a smile. That all! I don't what topic to start a conversation with them. But anyhow, i gonna meet them sooner or later. That the fact. I must get myself down to the workshop to get first hand experience about the tractor. I need to know what is in the tractor, how the function and what the technician is doing. If not, i will never learn.

Somehow, i realize that effort, determination is the key of success. I knew it long time ago, but i never practice it.LOL! To keep myself doing what i determine to do ain't easy. There will be a lot of obstacle obstructing your way. Just like my determination to update my blog daily. Getting myself online is my main problem. Yet, i am able to post my blog for 5 consecutive days(refer internship day 1-5). At the end of the day, satisfaction is the reward you will get. I am currently determine to make over myself. My apperance, my look, my physical fitness..... but nothing free right. There is always a price to pay. Nothing free. It's just the matter whether your investment is worthy enough or not.

Internship's Diary-Day 4

Guess no choice, i have to us my aunt's laptop to online and post my blog. Previously she asked my to use her laptop, but i refuse to use it. But, i gonna to get mad when live with out internet. LOL!

Today, another crazy job for me. I was assigned to call the customer regarding their outstanding payment. Meaning i gonna be tai yee long(loan shark) LOL! Can you image that i actually spent my whole in phoning? Damn! i don't like it. I did more that 100 calls today. Do you believe that?LOL! Supposedly there were only 50 debtors, but...
1) some idiots didn't pick up the phones
2) some assholes just keep avoiding me and asked me to call person in-charge later
3) some jerks just ain't understand what your are talking and start making you confuse.
4) some sohais keep avoid their responsibility and transferring you call here and there.
5) some fuckers just let their mothers handle their office calls.
6) some pokai will just answer the phone and keep scolding the innocent Mervin.

for those who pick up their calls:
1) Claiming that they didn't receive any invoice
2) Saying that their company currently don't have money to pay
3) Wanna us to follow up their case later.
4) Claim that they had made the payment, and ect...

I was damn tired today. tired of handling calls. Yesterday i strained my eye by facing the laptop for the whole day. But today worst still, i need to handle calls with my eyes looking at the computer for the customers details.

I don't want to blog anymore. I will leave my first day to Fitness First for the next blog.

The Day

Before starting story of the day,
last night, i had a bad dream, dreamt that been scold by lecturer during presentation. haigh... bad instinct.

Today, day for integrated project presentation. woke up as early as 6am(supposedly by 5am) Keep revising, and reading all the details of the report. Gosh, that's a lot to be memorized,and more to explain.... ready up myself, reached faculty by 8am. finalize all the presentation.

By 8.50am, we went to the meeting room, waiting for the lecturers to arrive. Our presentation start by 9.15am, 15 minutes late from the actual time.Why?Not our fault.
The worst thing was even before the presentation, we have been "attacked" for the sake of the university name. Instead of "National University of Malaysia", it must be in "Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia" What? Because they told us that," it's a big offense to change the name of the university. Huh? In fact, there was stated in the official website, even in my matrix card of that words. In didn't argue anything, just keep quite. They later told us that "National University of Malaysia" just nick name of the UKM. and cannot been use. Later, Our front cover of the is circled, and been told, "potong markah" what? They even ask who the one who write the cover, shit, somehow is me.
From that moment, i know that's just beginning, the worst still awaiting us. And true enough, during Q&A session, haigh.... speechless, horrible, terrible, vegetable. Kena kaw kaw.
Everything sucks from the beginning till the end. But can't be denial that today i do learned something. That's what my group member, Chun Ta said. I don't denial that, but somehow, that incident stuff still running in my mind throughout the day.

Finally, now, i'am cooled down. Flashing back what happened today. It's already the past. But now agree with Chun Ta that we actually learnt something today.

1) Learnt to be mindful every single words that came out from our mouth. Make sure you got strong reasoning with evidence for every statement made.
2) I learnt to be mindful every single thing you have written. Make sure it's logical, no mistake, every notation used must be according to engineering standardization.
3) Learnt to make more preparation even you are ready, practice make perfect.
4) Learnt to analyse, being attacked was a horrible stuff, take it positive, learnt from criticism, take out the what can be learnt.
5) Learnt to be a good employee. Be prepare to be "shoot", scold, obey, and let go.
6) Understand that you be always wrong if you not capable enough. Now i really understand the meaning "koung yan kong ye mou yan theng", "poor people say thing no people listen" Cantonese." Unless you are strong enough.
7) Perfectism make you perfect.

Though everything turned out to be suck, but who care, i LEARNT something today. Something precious. Thank you!
